Ambassador Stephen Rapp is currently the U.S. Ambassador-at-large for war crimes.  He was formerly the Prosecutor for the Special Court for Sierra Leone where he led the prosecution of former Liberian President Charles Taylor, among others.  He was also the lead trial attorney in the Media Case at the International Criminal Tribunal for Rwanda, which resulted in convictions of the principals of RTLM radio and Kangura newspaper.  In these capacities he has worked at the very highest levels prosecuting genocide, war crimes, and crimes against humanity.  Ambassador Rapp will talk about his work in international criminal law, for the Obama Administration, and how his experiences internationally have informed his work as a lawyer and how they can benefit attorneys in Idaho.  Professor Monica Schurtman of the University of Idaho will respond and open the questions for Ambassador Rapp.
